15th January 2012 - "Birthday Lunch" A huge "Thank You" to you and all your team for a truly superb lunch party on Sunday. We have received many complimentary comments from our guests on the impeccable service, always friendly, efficient and unobtrusive, and the superb quality of the food - "the lamb just melted in the mouth"! The children also greatly appreciated the TV in the lounge area, which gave a welcome opportunity for the grown-ups to catch up on family news. The service, food and ambience were everything that we could have ever desired - and the views of the river and racecourse were of course perfect in the sunshine! Thank you to you all. 23rd September - Thank you very much for putting on a great 'Day at the Races' on the 23rd September. We have received many letters of thanks for the day and I am pleased to be able to report that these were not just 'thank you for the day' letters, but most of them expressed extreme thanks such as 'I enjoyed every minute of the day', 'everything about the day was top class' etc. - A.B. 23rd September - I'd just like to say what a fantastic day we all had on Friday. The food was wonderful, the service was first class, the box was well placed, the weather was perfect and the racing was very exciting. 13th July - Hi Jenny, I just wanted to thank you and your fantastic team at the Racecourse for a great evening. Everything was exactly how we wanted it and all the staff from the men on the entrance gate, through to the waitresses and tote staff were all really friendly and helpful. The meal was delicious and even our vegetarian and fussy eater said their meals were really lovely too. 7th - 11th June - Early Years Conference - Hi Jenny and team, Thank you again for all your hard work and support over the last week for our Early Years conference. As usual all the staff were very helpful and attentive. Every morning we were greeted by smiles and cups of tea! and staff were always helpful and polite even when we asked for the step ladders yet again! You couldn't be more helpful. 21st March 2011 - EYP Celebration Event - Just to say a huge thank you to you and all the staff at the Racecourse who worked so hard to make the event so successful - it was a wonderful day, the meal was superb (the chicken meal was heavenly - I must try to do something similar at home) and the service was exceptional. One of our practitioners liked it to being at a wedding - and believe me that was praise indeed. I could not have wished for the day to have gone any better! Debbie English
11th February 2011 - The Rotary Club Of Worcester Severn - May I thank you all, so much for your efforts on our behalf last night, the room looked absolutely gorgeous when we came into it, having already been met by Tom downstairs and then the young ladies to take our coats. The lovely atmosphere was set right there and continued all night, the food was delicious. 27th October 2010 - Sussex Community NHS Trust - I would just like to extend my thanks to Sue and her team for the support at our conference on Wednesday this week they were all very helpful and cheerful throughout the day. I'm sorry I don't know their names but special thanks to the maintenance man who went out of his way to ensure the technology worked as we initially had problems, also the kitchen staff who made me a round of rolls as due to having to catch up on work phone calls at lunch time, I missed all the food!! Also thanks to Sue's clear directions I found my way back home.
14th September 2010 - Diocese of Worcester - I would like to thank you for your hospitality yesterday at our staff training morning. We received a wonderful welcome from you and your staff, which was commented upon during our session. The facilities were really good for us and, I gather, you have been most helpful along the way as the event was planned. The quality (and quantity!) of the food was really good and much appreciated too. So please pass on our gratitude to your colleagues and, once again, thank you for all you have done for us, we are sure to think of you for future bookings. Robert Jones

6th June 2010 - I just wanted to write to thank you and your team very much for such a wonderful birthday celebration in the restaurant at Worcester Racecourse yesterday. We enjoyed the food, the service was excellent and my Father was surprised and delighted with the opportunity to meet the Red Devils to mark his 80th Birthday. 22nd April 2010 - Worcester Severn Rotary Club - As you know , it was our annual Vocational Awards Evening which is a bit special to us and our invited guests who come and receive their awards. Additionally, the Mayor came to present the awards and say a few words of encouragement to us. Both on the night and subsequently a number of Club members have come back to me and let me know that they really enjoyed the evening, not least because of the quality of the fayre, the ambience of the dining area and the friendliness of the Racecourse staff. - Mr Chris Croft
17th April 2010- Birthday Party - Dear Jenny,
Many, many thanks for all your and your team's help on
Saturday. You have a great team. They were always helpful, friendly
and courteous despite the last minute changes in some of the
arrangements. Nothing was too much trouble. They were all, from the
managers to bar/waiter staff and security, excellent and a delight
to deal with. You must be proud of them It takes time and effort to
build a good team and you have done well. The food was good and
well received, and everything your end went very smoothly. Thank
you also for putting me in touch with the Sopranobella who were
very well received. It was unfortunate their time was limited.

31st March 2010- SLR Consulting Limited - The SLR
event was a very important day for myself and the business and it
ran smoothly due to the commitment and skills of your conferencing
team, this being the gent who opened up and assisted with set up,
the gent and lady who provided drinks, food and service through the
day and most of all to the ever patient Events Manager, Jenny
Cheshire. Due to my somewhat adhoc management style and the fact
that this was a very busy time for my business I came to the
Racecourse late in the day with my booking and provided essential
details to your team at short notice. The service we received on
the build up to the day and on the day was excellent and the food
prepared by yourselves was fantastic. I received many positive
comments from my conference attendees and from senior staff at my
company including a board director. Please do pass on my thanks to
your team for the service provided and be reassured that you have a
competitive and high quality product that is on a par with and in
my opinion, better than that offered by other, perhaps more glossy
and glamorous, venues in the city. I have already recommended the
racecourse to other people looking for such venues and shall

Years & Childcare in association with Worcester News -
Just wanted to thank you and all of your staff for their support on
Tuesday & Wednesday. They were all very friendly and went out
of their way to help us, our exhibitors and our visitors. We
couldn't have asked for a better service! All of our exhibitors
commented on just how great the new venue was! Please pass a HUGE
thankyou to everyone who helped us with our event!
20th March 2010 - Birthday Party - Just wanted to say thank you to you and the team for all your support in delivering a super party, I think that most people have commented on how helpful your team were and definitely how tasty the Hog roast was, so please pass my thanks onto the guys who did the hog. 16th - 20th March 2010 - Early Years
Conference at Worcester Racecourse - Having recently held
our week-long Early Years conference at the Worcester Racecourse I
just wanted to write to you to say how much we appreciated the
tremendous commitment and support of all the staff there. They
simply could not do enough to help us and made a significant
contribution to the success of the conference. Jenny ensured that
everything was organised perfectly and greeted us in the morning
and checked at the end of the day that everything had gone
smoothly. She listened to our every request beforehand and nothing
was too much trouble - she even bought lovely tablecloths for our
snack cafe that was part of our exhibition on the ground floor.
Alan, Tom and Nick went beyond the call of duty, fetching and
carrying heavy boxes and resources from our cars, helping us with
setting up our mammoth displays and shifting furniture to please
our every whim! Nick catered for us and 150 delegates on each of
the 5 days perfectly - and the delicious food was praised by
everyone. All the staff organised the different buffet stations so
well that there was never a long queue and ensured that the tables
were kept replenished. Sue kept us happy with tea and coffee, her
cheery smile and general busy helpfulness.
We have held three big conferences at the Racecourse in the last
year - and it is the knowledge that we can rely completely on all
the staff to give us such a first rate service that keeps us coming
back to the venue. We also appreciated that you took such an
interest in the event - thank you - Sue
