Sunday 9th May - Miss Worcester Family Fun Day Miss Worcester Small

The contest to find Miss Worcester 2010 will take place on the marquee lawn during the afternoon. The winner, selected from ten finalists will be crowned straight after the last race. Entertainment during the afternoon will include a Pet Zoo in the centre of the course where people will be able to interact with a wide variety of animals. There will also be bouncy castles, face painting and balloon modelling. All the above entertainment will be free of charge.

Saturday 5th June - Ladies Day

Ladies Day Hat The very popular Ladies Day fixture will include competitions to find the best dressed lady, the most extravagant hat and the best dressed little lady (under 12 years) at the racecourse.

The Ladies Day Centre Course Hospitality Marquee will have tables available to book in advance for 2 or more people. The package price of £62.00 plus VAT per person, will include a three course meal with coffee, a racecard, Centre Course Enclosure entrance, use of the exclusive track side marquee lawn and parking near to the marquee.

Sunday 6th June - Family Fun Day Red Devils Small

THE spectacular RED DEVILS will land on the race track at around 12.30 pm. During the afternoon there will also be free entertainment in the centre of the racecourse which will include bouncy castles, face painting and balloon modelling.

Wednesday 23rd June - Senior Citizens Special Package Day

Persons of 65 years and older may pre-book for this special package (the package will also be available to purchase on the day). Costing £10 per person, the package will include:

  • Grandstand Enclosure entrance
  • Devon cream tea available from the Paddock Suite
  • Discounted betting voucher for the first race of the day with Ladbrokes
  • Parking in the centre of the course (with disabled car parking available)

Senior Citizen Discount Card holders will receive their £2 discount off this package price. (To apply for a Senior Citizen Discount Card you need to complete the application form available from the racecourse office (telephone 01905 25364) and return it with an up to date passport photograph and official proof of age, together with an adminstration fee of £2.50)

Carers will be admitted free of charge. Their Devon Cream Tea Package can be purchased for £5.00 per person.

Wednesday 7th July - Irish Night

The ever popular Hookey Band will return to play traditional Irish music on the Grandstand concourse throughout the evening. An Irish entertainer, themed food and plenty of Guinness will give the evening a great flavour!

There will be live music on the Grandstand concourse throughout the evening.

Friday 6th August - The Pershore Plum Festival Family Fun Race Day, Featuring The Jump Jockey Annual Charity Football Match

The Pershore Plum Festival is a local festival that takes place annually during the month of August. On this day we will be running The Land Of The Plums Chase which was last run at the former racecourse at Pershore almost a century ago. There will be everything for sale from plum sausages to plum cheese and plum soap. Prunella The Purple Plum will be meeting racegoers as the Festival Mascot. www.pershoreplumfestival.org.uk

Jockey Football

The annual Jump Jockey Charity Football Match between the Northern and Southern Jump Jockeys will be played in the centre of the course after the last race and there will be auctions of Money Can't Buy racing items in the parade ring between the races to raise money for Racing Welfare.

Tuesday 17th August - Caribbean Night

A Caribbean Steel Band will greet racegoers on the Grandstand concourse. Cocktails and grass skirts will be the order of the day with floral garlands available for the first 500 racegoers through the gate.

Free entertainment in the centre of the racecourse will include bouncy castles, face painting and balloon modelling.
