  • Buying your tickets in advance will save queuing on the day - tickets will be available on the gate but in a limited quantity, on a first come first serve basis

  • Last remaining hospitality space is the Afternoon Tea Marquee: £75 per person. Seating cannot be reserved in this area but there are tables and chairs for all guests. ONLY 14 SPACES REMAINING
  • Pimm's, Pukka and Fizz packages are available in advance only until 12 noon Friday 1 June
  • If you have purchased tickets in advance, please bring them on the day. If you do not bring your tickets you will not gain entry and will have to purchase another ticket
  • Please call us on 01905 253 64 at least 24 hours before the raceday if you still have not received your tickets in order for us to resolve the issue in good time
  • County Enclosure tickets are sent via email, all other tickets and packages (including the Fizz Package) are sent out in the post
  • Children under 18 go free and do not need a ticket - however due to the crowd size of 10,500 on this day it is very crowded and there is no entertainment for children, hence may not be suitable for young children
  • If you have ordered tickets within 5 days of the raceday (with the exception of e-tickets) your tickets will be at the ticket booth near the Centre Course entrance for collection on the day
  • Parking is free in the Centre Course, please use postcode WR1 3EH
  • For coach and taxi drop off's please use the Council's Croft Road car park, postcode WR1 3NZ. This is approximately a 3-5 minute walk from the racecourse. For disabled/less mobile guests, please drop off in the Centre Course, postcode WR1 3EH
  • Crowned by Crowngate - Best Dressed Lady Competition: enter at the Crowngate Beauty Enclosure inside the County Enclosure, deadline for entries is 2pm. The final 20 will be judged by our sponsors Crowngate Shopping Centre at 4.20pm. Prizes to be announced soon
  • No food or drink can be brought into the County Enclosure
  • No folding chairs, tables or gazebos can be brought into the County Enclosure


  • Gates open at 11.30am: no admissions prior to this time
  • First race: 1.45pm
  • Best dressed lady final: 4.20pm
  • Last race: 5.35pm
  • Abba Revival playing live after racing in the Centre Course: approximately 6pm until 7.30pm

Race times are subject to change, please check the website 24 hours before the event for final timings.

The two track crossings allowing vehicle and pedestrian access into the racecourse CLOSE APPROXIMATELY 10 MINUTES before the first race and you will have to wait to enter the racecourse for around 20-30 minutes if you arrive after the crossings have closed.


Please would racegoers kindly note that bringing your own drink (alcoholic or soft drinks) into the County Enclosure is strictly prohibited. For your own enjoyment and to avoid disappointment please observe this restriction.

Worcester Racecourse operates a responsible drinking policy. The quantity of alcohol permitted to be brought into the Centre Course Enclosure is limited to one sealed 75cl bottle of wine, Prosecco or Champagne, OR 2 cans of beer/lager/cider per person. Spirits are not permitted.

You will be asked to dispose of any additional alcohol before being allowed entry to the racecourse. Any excessive quantities of alcohol will be confiscated by racecourse management in accordance with the alcohol policy. Any soft drinks/water must be in sealed bottles and any opened bottles will need to be consumed or disposed of prior to entering the racecourse.

Worcester Racecourse reserves the right to refuse entry to people who are already under the influence of alcohol.

Popular Ticket Options

County Enclosure Advance E-TICKET

Tickets are sent out via email as E-TICKETS and must be shown on the gate to gain entry on the day; please either print off your ticket on A4 paper or download the ticket onto your phone and show the ticket on your mobile phone screen.


Centre Course Enclosure Advance Ticket

Centre Course tickets purchased in advance will be sent out in the post. If you are booking within 5 working days of the raceday your tickets will be on the gate for collection on the day.


The Pukka Package

The Pukka Package is fantastic value and includes admission to the Centre Course Enclosure, a racecard, a drinks voucher and a delicious Pukka Pie. This package is only available when booked in advance and your tickets will be sent out to you in the post. If you are booking within 5 working days of the raceday your tickets will be left on the gate for collection on the day.


Pimm's Package

The Pimm's Package is fantastic value and includes admission to the Centre Course Enclosure, a racecard, a glass of Pimms and a scone with jam and cream. This is a special offer and must be booked in advance. If buying your tickets in advance these will be sent out to you in the post, if you have purchased your tickets within 5 working days of the raceday the tickets will be on the gate on the day for collection.


Afternoon Tea Marquee

**ONLY 14 SPACES REMAINING.** New for 2018! Exclusive use of the new marquee in the Centre Course, dual County Enclosure and Centre Course admission ticket giving access to all areas of the Racecourse, afternoon tea buffet, half a bottle of Prosecco per person (3 glasses) and a racecard. Tickets will be sent out to you in the post, or if you are booking within 5 working days of the raceday your tickets will be left for collection on the gate on the day.

Dress Code

The dress code in hospitality areas and the County Enclosure is smart casual. Sportswear and fancy dress are not permitted. There is no dress code in the Centre Course Enclosure, however we advise you to dress for the elements and for the theme of the raceday. Trainers, jeans and smart shorts are accepted in both of our enclosures. Click here for more information.

Children under 18 go free when accompanied by an adult. ID may be required.
