Tickets & Booking
How long do I have to purchase my tickets online?
Our online ticket service remains open right up until the day of each fixture- so you can bag last minute tickets! Please note this depends on availability. An alternative option is to purchase tickets at the gate.
Will booking my tickets in advance save money?
Yes! If you book your ticket in advance of your visit via our website, you can save an average of £5. Ticket prices tend to change the closer you get to a Raceday.
Am I allowed to purchase extra tickets on the day?
Depending on availability, you can purchase extra tickets at the gate or via our website. Tickets are generally always available on the day, however, please bear in mind that themed days, especially Ladies Day, can sell out.
How do I present my ticket at the gate?
You can either present your e-ticket via a mobile device at the gate or present a printed copy. We recommend having your ticket ready at the gate to reduce queuing time.
Am I entitled to a transfer or refund if I can’t attend?
Once tickets and other online packages have been purchased; refunds or transfers are only available in the event of a race abandonment or event cancellation. Please see our terms and conditions on our website for further information.
Can I upgrade my ticket to access a different enclosure?
Yes! Ticket upgrades are available to purchase on the day of your visit if there’s availability. To arrange, please visit our racecourse office.
Can children attend the races?
Children can attend the races and if they’re aged 17 or under, they can access the racecourse for free with an accompanying adult! Please select a child ticket when you’re making a booking to claim.
How do I claim and use an Arena Racing Company Gift Voucher for my booking?
To use your gift voucher on our website, just select the ticket you'd like to purchase and add this to your basket. At the checkout, enter your unique Gift Voucher code for full or part payment in the 'Add Gift Voucher Code' field. Your ticket(s) will be emailed to you.

Times
What time do you open the gates?
We aim to open the gates two hours before the first race, giving you plenty of time to grab your first drink, make your first bet and get yourselves settled in one of our viewing platforms. To check the time of races on the day of your visit, please visit our What’s On fixture page.
When will the last race take place and what time do you close?
Our closing times and the last race can vary from day to day. We tend to close shortly after the last race has been run. For the most accurate timings, please visit our What’s On fixture page.

Experience

Is there anywhere I can stay for the night nearby?
We’ve pulled a list of the best places to stay nearby here.
Does the weather affect Racedays?
Yes. For turf tracks, the amount of rainfall will impact the ‘Going’ at the racecourse, which, simply put, is how ‘hard’ or ‘soft’ the ground is. Different horses enjoy different ground conditions, and therefore the going reports are vital for a horse’s trainer and owner in deciding when and where a horse should run.
As the health and safety of all participating horses and jockeys is the main priority for us, if a racing surface is deemed unraceable or we experience extreme weather conditions, a fixture will be abandoned for everyone’s safety.
If this happens, please note that all customers will be alerted and the information will be available immediately on our website.
Full or partial refunds will be automatically provided according to our refund policy, available on our terms and conditions of entry.
Dogs
Can I bring my dog?
Pets are not allowed on the grounds unless they are a listed Guide Dog of the Blind or any other Assistance Dog.
Photography
Can I take photos?
At all race meetings, we ask that visitors ensure they don’t take flash photography near the horses. If you want to take any photos or video footage of the racing action, this is allowed as long as it’s for personal and non-commercial use.
Any photographers that are felt to be impeding or contravening any rights without accreditation and prior written consent, will be requested to leave the premises immediately.
You cannot take images for commercial purposes without gaining permission from the team at Worcester Racecourse and provision of press accreditation.
Please note that professional filming and photography takes place at Worcester Racecourse for various publications and broadcasting. By entering the racecourse, you automatically accept our terms and conditions of entry, which authorises us with the right to broadcast, publish, licence and use any photographs, film, recordings or images of you without payment or other compensation in any promotional literature produced by Arena Racing Company. All Terms & Conditions are available on our website.
