Sustainability

-
We’re dedicated to sustainable practices

At our racecourse, sustainability is at the heart of how we operate, not just for today’s racegoers but for future generations who are set to enjoy the sport and the stunning city of Worcester we’re proud to call home.

Open from April through to October, our summer meetings are framed by the pretty surroundings of the city and River Severn. With such a beautiful setting comes a great responsibility to protect it, and we’re committed to reducing our environmental impact where possible.

We’d also like to encourage racegoers to make environmentally friendly choices when visiting our course. The racecourse is just a short stroll away from the city centre, and we kindly ask racegoers to consider walking or using public transport, when possible, to help reduce their carbon footprint. Not only is it a greener way to travel, but it’s a lovely way to take in the views before a day’s racing.

By working together, we can ensure our racecourse remains a place people feel connected – environmentally, socially and economically.
