Worcester Racecourse is known as one of the oldest racecourses in the country. On your visit, you will be immersed by the most stunning surroundings in the heart of Worcester, boasting views of Worcester Cathedral and the banks of the River Severn.
A short distance from the city centre, we typically host 21 National Hunt jump racing fixtures from April through to October each year. We also host a variety of highlight events, including Ladies Day, Family Fun Days and The Pershore Plum Festival.
A left-handed course shaped in an oval, the racecourse is flat with eight chase fences, or six flights or hurdles per circuit, and a run-in of 220 yards. With a level racing surface and sweeping bends, Worcester Racecourse presents a fair test for all types of horses and riders.
